First Monday Letterboxing

On Saturday, Blue Butterfly and I met for lunch in Athens. I'd considered asking her if she wanted to go letterboxing in Canton after lunch, but thought against it since we letterboxed last week and are DEFINITELY letterboxing next weekend. Lo and behold, during lunch, she tells me she brought clues for Canton and I told her I'd go with her. We left my car in Athens and loaded up her van. We started out by going to Meredith Campground in Walton. When we got there, we saw that the ramp where the LB was supposed to reside is being remodeled, and the box was no where to be found. So, we got back on highway 19 and kept heading north toward Canton.

We made our way to a local cemetery to find two letterboxes there. Blue Butterfly had already found one of the boxes, but not the other. We followed the clues to both boxes, even finding a time capsule buried in the cemetery that will be opened in 2036. Anyhow, we took the boxes back to the Golden Bullet and stamped in without the wind whipping around us.

We left the cemetery to hit a new park where Frogkisses' MY BIRTHDAY SERIES was planted. This was a fun series and we found all three boxes. All of the logbooks are full, so BB left a few extra sheets in the boxes for future finders.

After celebrating the birthday, we made our way to FM 17 to find Starr Cemetery. We easily found the cemetery, but we could not find the box. It looked like all of the bushes had been trimmed and cut back, so we were out of luck on this one.
