I finally got my stamp carved to be planted for the gathering on March 7. The box is called ASSAULT and it refers to the 1946 Triple Crown winner from King Ranch, Texas. Assault injured himself at a young age by stepping on a surveyor's stake, leaving him with a club foot. Against these odds, he went on to great things in his life. Assault is the only Triple Crown winner to ever come from the great state of Texas.
